Piezo Pulsed Atomizer Development

Spray quality improvement at sub-idle conditions

Combustion stability improvement at LBO limits and ignition stability at high altitude relight

Method of operation: the spray is pulsed with a piezoelectric injector. Instantaneous high pressure pulses produce droplets orders of magnitude smaller in comparison to an injector operated at steady pressure.
